Recycling Centre – Malaga open during Tarmac West Rally

The Recycling Centre – Malaga will remain open during the Tarmac West Rally on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

Access will be available via Malaga Drive and Victoria Road. Please allow extra travel time, as the rally may cause delays.

Unrestricted Burning Period

The unrestricted burning period runs from Monday, June 1 to Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

During the unrestricted burning period, you can burn without a permit subject to the following conditions:
- Your property is over 2000sqm
- You are only burning vegetative or untreated wood.
All burning (including exemptions) is prohibited when a total fire ban is declared.
