Event description
Join the Futures Lab Robotics crew for an interplanetary engineering challenge.Working in pairs, you’ll design and program a robot capable of conquering the rocky Martian terrain. Learn the secrets of robotics, teamwork, and problem-solving as you equip your rover with sensors and smarts to face a series of real-world space challenges.
Once your design is complete, put your rover to the test in our exciting Mars Challenge Arena… can your robot complete its mission and make it home safely?
Bring a friend to team up, or meet a fellow young innovator on the day.
Parents are welcome to join in the fun.
Please book in as spaces are limited.
This program is suitable for kids aged 12 - 17 and is a hands-on workshop. Please book one ticket for each person attending. Photography and videography may be taken at this event. Images and footage may be used by the City of Swan and event organisers for marketing and promotional purposes.
