Getting Started on Xero – Introduction for New Businesses

Throughout the workshop, learn about the key differences between Xero and its competitors to help  choose the best fit for your business. The session guides attendees through using Xero – from keeping records to reconciling bank accounts and managing invoices and bills.  

 Learn practical tips on exploring the Xero app store and connecting with  partners who can help businesses  make the most of their  accounting software. By the end of the workshop, participants will feel confident choosing the right accounting software and getting started with Xero.  

In this workshop, you will learn how to:
  • Use Xero and cloud accounting
  • Compare Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks
  • Navigate Xero’s features and interface
  • Understand record-keeping requirements with the Australian Tax Office
  • Reconcile bank accounts 
  • Manage invoices, bills and automated features 
  • Navigate the app marketplace and work with partners
  • Setup or convert your business to Xero.
