Learning English Through Storytime

Event description

Learning English Through Storytime is a program for children and their parents/carer for whom English is a second language.

The program is designed to offer a fun space to practise and develop English skills.

Each week a different theme is explored through songs, rhymes, stories, and hands-on activities, providing a social and interactive environment that helps young people get school ready.

Who is the program designed for?
Pre-school children aged 3-4 and their parent /carer for whom English is a second language.

When does it run?
The program is term based and runs for eight weeks on Mondays at Ellenbrook Library. The program is term based and runs for a period of eight weeks.

Participants are asked to attend all sessions, program dates are listed below. 
  • Session 1: Monday, October 20
  • Session 2: Monday October 27
  • Session 3: Monday November 3
  • Session 4: Monday November 10
  • Session 5: Monday November 17
  • Session 6: Monday November 24
  • Session 7: Monday December 1
  • Session 8: Monday December 8

Please book in as spaces are limited.
This program is suitable for children aged 3-4 and their parent/caregiver and is storytime session. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
