4-week songwriting course

Event description

Join our experienced music staff as they guide you through the process of writing and your own songs.

Over the course of this workshop series, you’ll learn how to effectively capture the intent and emotion of your music with lyrics, melodies, chord progressions and arranging techniques.

You will have the opportunity to record your song with our music staff at a separate session after the course is complete. 

Please note your registration is for the entire four-week program, only reserve a spot if you are available for each session.

Session dates:

• Session 1: Thursday, February 5, 2026 
• Session 2: Thursday, February 12, 2026
• Session 3: Thursday, February 19, 2026
• Session 4: Thursday, February 26, 2026

Please book in as spaces are limited.  
This program is suitable for ages 16+ and is songwriting course. Please book one ticket for each person attending. Photography and videography may be taken at this event. Images and footage may be used by the City of Swan and event organisers for marketing and promotional purposes.
