These workshops are suitable for children 4-14+ years - see specific workshop for specific age ranges. Please note that not all workshops are at all venues on all days, please see individual dates and locations for availability.

Build confidence on two wheels with our fun, hands-on cycling workshops for children and families. From learning to ride independently, to developing safe riding skills, and gaining practical bike maintenance know-how, each session is led by qualified instructors in a supportive environment. Bring your bike along and enjoy learning skills that make riding safer, easier, and more enjoyable

Learn to ride
The one-hour Learn to Ride workshop teaches children the skills required to advance from training wheels/balance bikes to riding a two-wheel bike independently with confidence and ease.

Bike skills
The one-hour Bike Skills workshop teaches children who can independently ride a two-wheeled bike how to ride safely by developing their knowledge, skills and confidence in a fun, learning environment.

Bike Maintenance
The 90-minute Bike Maintenance workshop provides a hands-on opportunity to learn valuable tips from qualified mechanics on how to maintain your bike. Includes puncture repair, brake adjustment, chain maintenance and advice on how to keep their bike safe and reliable. Participants are encouraged to bring along their own bike

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will provide valuable advice on how to progress their child’s riding experience.
