Ever wondered what happens to the recyclables in your yellow bin?Come on a free 90-minute tour of Cleanaway's state-of-the-art Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in South Guildford and find out.
You’ll see a range of recycling techniques in action, including how plastic, glass, cardboard, paper, cardboard and metals are sorted.
It’s a great chance to see where your local recycling goes and learn why it's important to recycle as best we can.
This tour is exclusive to City of Swan residents. Free transport from Jack Mann Oval on the corner of Bishop Road and the Great Northern Highway, Middle Swan, is provided. Places are limited so book early.
