Thinking Green: The Curated Wardrobe, Swan Repair Cafe and Clothes Swap

Event description

Join us for a fun and hands on day by learning how to shop second-hand with certainty and repair your bags and shoes with The Curated Wardrobe, bring your household items back to life with Swan Repair Cafe, and swap your clothes with new-to-you items at the City of Swan's cloth swap.

Shop second-hand with certainty - 9.30 - 11.30am

Are you tired of impulse buys and wardrobe regrets, even when you’re shopping secondhand?

This signature masterclass presented by Hazel, The Curated Wardrobe is for anyone who wants to feel more confident, intentional, and inspired when they thrift. Developed off the back of a 12-month wardrobe freeze, Shop Secondhand with Certainty explores why we end up with clothes we don’t wear and how to break that cycle for good.

You’ll walk away with a fresh understanding of your personal style, a practical system for shopping with purpose, and the tools to make secondhand fashion work beautifully for your real life.

Whether you’re just starting your slow fashion journey or a seasoned op-shopper ready to level up, this is the ultimate guide to shopping mindfully, and loving what you find.

Bag and shoe repair and painting station - 11.45am - 12.15pm

Give your favourite accessories a fresh lease on life! This creative drop-in session combines practical repair skills with personal style flair.

Bring along your tired totes, scuffed boots, or faded clutches, Hazel will show you how to restore, refresh and reimagine them using colour-matching and custom paint techniques. Learn how to mix shades to match or contrast with your existing wardrobe, making your accessories feel brand new (without buying a thing).
