Thinking Green: Twist and twine - fabric scrap upcycling

Event description

This tour is suitable for adults and young people aged 12 and over.

Participants will join Selina for a hands-on session where fabric scraps become colourful, handmade twine! They will learn simple techniques to twist their own twine — perfect for gift wrapping and creative projects. It’s a fun, beginner-friendly way to give people’s fabric offcuts a new purpose.

Supplies are included but participants can bring along their own scraps.

Selina is the founder of Positively Sew, helping busy people who care about creativity, connection, and sustainability rediscover confidence and calm through hand sewing. With a refreshingly anti-perfectionist approach, Selina makes it easy to carve out meaningful creative time without the overwhelm of scheduling, sourcing supplies or knowing exactly where to start. Selina brings heart, humour and a deep love for slow, mindful making into everything she creates.

This workshop is in partnership with Switch Your Thinking.
