Learn the foundations of relief printmaking with a focus on colour, layering, and process. Participants will carve and print a relief block (either lino or wood), exploring both press and hand-printing techniques. In this one-day workshop led by exhibiting artist Matt Perrin, participants will carve and print a lino block while learning inking, basic registration, and colour layering using the etching press alongside hand-printing methods. Techniques discussed are transferable to woodblock printmaking.
